Unifying Istanbul's entire ferry network under one roof for the first time.
We gather the services, routes and piers of nine different operators into a single resource: free of charge and open to everyone.
Making sea transport clear for everyone.
In Istanbul the ferry is a fast and pleasant way to travel, but services are split across nine separate operators, with no shared map or timetable. Istanbul Ferry Network removes that fragmentation: it brings routes, piers and departure times together in one simple interface. Our aim is to be reliable for daily commuters and easy to understand for visitors.
Nine timetables, one line language.
Every operator publishes its own timetable in its own format. We merged those timetables into a single dataset and drew one hand-built schematic for the whole network. The crop below is the live map itself.

One colour per operator
Nine operators' routes speak the same line language; colour tells them apart.
Drawn to be read
The geometry follows the rider rather than the coastline: a schematic with metro-map clarity.
Every pier on one schematic
The Bosphorus, the Golden Horn, the Marmara and the Islands, all on one plane.

Short answers
Are you an official body?
We are an independent civic initiative. Service information is based on the timetables operators publish.
Where does the data come from?
From the operators' public timetables. We merge them into one dataset and keep it current.
Why is it free?
We see this as a service to the city. Backing from supporters keeps it free and open to everyone.
What if I spot an error?
Tell us through the contact page; timetables are checked against operator sources regularly.
